We have over 35 fully qualified tradesmen, specialising in their own trades, with a backup of office and managerial staff to ensure smooth running of all contracts. Each contract is completed with the quality and care for which we are renowned, using all our own directly employed qualified tradesmen and specialist established sub-contractors.
S.B. Renovations Limited is a member of the N.H.B.C. and can arrange a 10-year warranty on any new builds. We are also members of the Federation of Master Builders and the Guild of Master Craftsmen.

We have our own direct craftsmen, of each trade, specialising in their own profession, ensuring that each contract is carried out to the highest standard, and enabling us to focus the manpower where and when it is required, programming the jobs to run continuously and to timescales agreed with the client, without relying and trying to program work around sub contract labour, who could have other commitments and therefore cannot guarantee the same standard of service.
We use the same specialist sub contractors to guarantee the same quality and workmanship and with pre negotiated rates to ensure value for money for our clients.
We have a tried, tested and proven management structure to oversee the smooth running of each valued contract, employing an experienced General Manager and a qualified experienced Contracts Manager to oversee each job, liaise with each site foreman, with each client and their agents, to ensure the quality and timescales are adhered to.
We have valued office staff, situated in School Road Tilehurst, ensuring that there is always someone at the end of the phone or to speak to in person, to answer any queries you may have with either work due to be carried out or work in progress.
We offer a back up service to help and advise our customers, enabling you to choose and select the right materials and fittings for your home, allowing you the opportunity to purchase these on our trade accounts, obtaining our generous trade discounts, acquired through bulk purchase, though these will be subject to a 10% mark up.
We offer an excellent after sales service to deal with any problems that may arise, snagging or faulty goods supplied by any of our suppliers.
As a local established company we are well known and have a good working relationship with the local Building Control officers, which in turn allows smooth running of the work, with S B Renovations Ltd, arranging all necessary site visits, and obtaining signed inspection sheets from them to confirm inspections and work passed.
Fixed rates of labour can be issued, and all pricing of variations, either omissions or additions is transparent, with relevant larger invoices copied.
Bar chart programs are issued, so clients can see time tables of the work being carried out.
We have an on-going Health and Safety training plan for all staff, Company Policy for Health and Safety, Site Staff Safety hand book and 10 qualified site First Aiders.
We are conversant with CDM regulations, and can act as the appointed Planning Supervisor as well as the Principle Contractor and produce Construction Phase Health and Safety plans.
We are a member of the N.H.B.C. and can offer a 10 year warranty on new builds.
We are also a member of the Federation of Master Builders, with our director also a director of the Federation of Master Builders.
